The Kaaban Girls’ Forum has prepared a diverse suitable-for-all ages program this summer. The Forum’s Director, Ms. Badri Al-Kaabi noted that events include a range of activities held remotely through social media platforms. These activities which aim to refine and develop girls’ talents will be of benefit to all the Centre’s members in this period of social spacing and home quarantine.
Al-Kaabi added that the events include a variety of activities and workshops for girls aimed at making use of their spare time and developing their skills. Workshops will continue to be held online until August and focus on human development skills.
As for the Forum’s media officer, Moza Al Muhannadi, she explained that the most important summer workshops held by the forum are: the workshop on “Intelligence of relationships and engineering of life situations”, presented by trainer/ Abdul-Aziz Dalloul, targeting 14-year-olds and above.
“We also hold,” she added “a personal planning workshop with Trainer/ Wadha Al-Athba targeting 13-year-olds and above. In addition, there are outstanding media programs targeting 9 to 15-year-olds through the Zoom application. These girls’ age category are addressed with the “Make your own Comic” workshop with Journalist/ Ahmed Al-Maliki, and another that helps them speak in front of the camera with confidence.
“We also hold a social media art workshop,” Al-Mohannadi added “presented by Trainer/ Saida Al Muhannadi, targeting 14-year-olds and above, as well as other programs.”
