Biography

The Qatari Forum for Authors is a cultural body affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Sports, it aims at upgrading the cultural level of authors, publishing the productions of members in books and periodicals, encouraging the translation of good stuff into international languages, and strengthening relations between authors and the Arab and international unions of writers and authors.

The Forum also aims at consolidating relationships between authors and coordinate their efforts, sponsoring literary talents and refine and develop their abilities, stimulating the cultural movement and finally, coordinating efforts and attitudes with the professional and cultural associations and unions existing in the State towards national issues.
